Dear Nu Skin Friends and Colleagues:
The faculty and staff of the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine wish to congratulate Nu Skin as you celebrate your 20th anniversary. Nu Skin continues to be a wonderful corporate partner with the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University. We are grateful for the support that Nu Skin has given to our research on Epidermolysis Bullosa. Our patients are most appreciative that your assistance has allowed us to move our research forward at a much faster pace than we thought possible.
The Nu Skin Center for Dermatological Research at Stanford University was founded on April 1, 1999, trough the generosity of Blake and Nancy Roney. Their gift, through the One Foundation, was given to support research on genetic skin diseases, especially Epidermolysis Bullosa, within the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Through the support of the Nu Skin Center for Dermatological Research, Stanford scientists are actively developing gene therapy techniques to be used for patients with genetic skin diseases. In addition, their gift supports clinical trials on personal care and nutritional products.
Nu Skin is truly a company that cares about improving the well-being of individuals. Our Department of Dermatology is most grateful for the opportunity to interact with Nu Skin Enterproses and the outstanding individuals at Nu Skin. We with you more scores of successful years!
Sincerely yours Alfred T. Lane, M.D.
