Blake M. Roney
Chairman of the Board
Blake Roney serves as Chairman of the Board of Nu Skin Enterprises. He became the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Nu Skin International in 1984 and served in that capacity until May 1998. He was named Chairman of the Board of Nu Skin Enterprises when the company went public in November 1996. Mr. Roney earned an academic degree in business finance from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management in 1983. He serves on several boards and is active in civic and church organizations.
Steven J. Lund
President, Chief Executive Officer
Steve Lund has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nu Skin Enterprises since its formation in November 1996. Prior to heading Nu Skin Enterprises, he served as Executive Vice President of Nu Skin International from its inception in 1984. Before joining Nu Skin, he was an attorney in private practice. He is a member of the Direct Selling Association Board of Directors and is also a current member of the WFDSA CEO Council. Mr. Lund earned a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and a J.D. degree from BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School.
Sandie N. Tillotson
Senior Vice President
Sandie Tillotson serves as Senior Vice President of Nu Skin Enterprises. In 1984, Sandie helped found Nu Skin International (NSI), and assisted in the development of the original Nu Skin product line and establishment of the global marketing plan. She served as Vice President of NSI from 1984 through 1998. In 1993, Ms. Tillotson was named one of the top 10 female business owners in the U.S. by Working Woman magazine. In 2001, Ms. Tillotson was named one of the 50 "Women of the New Millennium" by Feminine Fortunes magazine. She was awarded this honor along with the likes of Katie Couric, Oprah Winfrey, Sandra Day O'Connor, and Marion Jones. Sandie earned a B.S. degree in Education from Brigham Young University and has taught in various Utah public schools. Today, Sandie enjoys her many roles as a mother, philanthropist and businesswoman.
Brooke B. Roney
Senior Vice President
Brooke Roney serves as a Senior Vice President of Nu Skin Enterprises. He served as a Vice President of Nu Skin International from 1992 to 1998. Previously, he served as Vice President of Distribution for NSI where he played a vital role in developing Nu Skin's state-of-the-art product distribution system. He acquired his expertise in warehouse operations through several years of facility management experience.
Max L. Pinegar
Senior Vice President
Max Pinegar is a member of the Board of Directors of Nu Skin Enterprises. Mr. Pinegar has served as a Senior Vice President and a member of the company's Executive Committee since January 2000 when he came out of retirement. He previously served as a Senior Vice President from May 1998 until his retirement in December 1998. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Nu Skin International and later Nu Skin Enterprises from July 1989 to May 1998. He received a B. A. degree from Brigham Young University and a M. B. A. degree from the University of Utah.
Takashi Bamba
President, Nu Skin Japan
Takashi Bamba has served as a director of Nu Skin Enterprises since November 2001 and has served a President and/or General Manager of Nu Skin Japan (NSJ) since 1993. Prior to joining NSJ, Mr. Bamba was President and CEO of Avon Products Co., Ltd., from 1988 to 1993. Mr. Bamba also currently serves as a director of the Japan Direct Selling Association. He received a B.A. degree from Yokohama National University.
Senator E.J. "Jake" Garn
United States Senate, Retired; Managing Director, Summit Ventures
Jake Garn has served as a director since March 1997. Senator Garn has been the managing director of Summit Ventures, LLC, a lobbying firm, since the beginning of 2000. He previously served as the Vice Chairman of Huntsman Corporation, one of the largest privately held companies in the United States, from 1993 to the beginning of 2000. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Morgan Stanley Funds, a mutual fund company; United Space Alliance, a prime contractor for the space shuttle; Franklin Covey & Co., Inc., a provider of time management seminars and products; Headwaters Incorporated, an alternative energy development corporation; BMW Bank of North America, an industrial loan corporation; and Escrow Bank USA, an industrial loan corporation. From 1974 to 1993, Senator Garn was a member of the United States Senate and served on numerous Senate committees. He received a B.S. degree from the University of Utah.
Senator Paula F. Hawkins
United States Senate, Retired; President, Paula Hawkins & Associates
Paula Hawkins has served as a director since March 1997. Senator Hawkins has been the president of Paula Hawkins & Associates, Inc., a management consulting company, since 1988. From 1980 to 1987, Senator Hawkins was a member of the United States Senate and served on numerous Senate committees.
Daniel W. Campbell
Managing General Partner, EsNet, Ltd.
Daniel Campbell has served as a director since March 1997. Mr. Campbell has been a Managing General Partner of EsNet, Ltd., a privately held investment company, since 1994. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Campbell was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of WordPerfect Corporation, a software company. Previously, he was a partner of Price Waterhouse LLP. He received a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University.
Andrew D. Lipman
Vice Chairman, Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman, LLP
Andrew Lipman was appointed as a director of Nu Skin Enterprises in May 1999. Since 1988, Mr. Lipman has been a partner and head of the Telecommunications Group of Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman, LLP, a Washington D.C. law firm. He is currently Vice Chairman of the firm. From 1987 to 1997, Mr. Lipman also served as Senior Vice President for Legal and Regulatory Affairs for MFS Communications, Co., a competitive telecommunications provider. He also currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of DSET Corporation, a software provider to competitive local telephone carriers; NHC Corporation, a telecommunications equipment manufacture; Allegiance Telecom, a provider of local and long distance telecommunications to business customers; and TMNG Inc., a telecommunications-related consulting firm. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Rochester and a J.D. degree from Stanford University.
