Freedom Festival One of the largest Independence Day Celebrations in the United States, the Freedom Festival in downtown Provo is a tradition for families in Utah. The Freedom Festival showcases patriotic America through the Balloon Festival, Grand Parade, Patriotic Service, the Picnic in the Park, and Stadium of Fire - one of the largest fireworks displays in the country. Nu Skin Enterprises is the major supporter of the Grand Parade. WinterFest Starting in late November and continuing through December 31 residents of Provo, Utah and neighboring communities are invited to enjoy the WinterFest Celebration. WinterFest kicks off Thanksgiving weekend with the annual Christmas parade, and continues with a number of holiday events including: the City and Country "Lights On Celebration," art exhibits, musical events and First Night Celebration. First Night is a nationwide program that emphasizes providing a safe and affordable New Year's Eve celebration without the presence of alcohol or drugs.
