In May 1998, the Chinese (Taiwan) Olympic Committee signed a sponsorship agreement with Nu Skin Taiwan. The agreement designates several Pharmanex products as the official line of nutrition products to be used by the Chinese Olympic Team through the year 2000, including the 1998 Asian Games.
