Gary K. Sumihiro
President, Nu Skin Japan
Gary Sumihiro was appointed as the President of Nu Skin Japan in April 2007. Prior to joining Nu Skin Enterprises, Sumihiro worked for Amway Japan, Limited as vice president and chief operating officer. He has held several positions throughout his 12-year tenure, including representative director, corporate secretary and general counsel. During his time with the company, Sumihiro was instrumental in building Amway Japan to its market-leading position. Sumihiro earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Thiel College, a law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a master of public administration from American University in Washington, D.C.
Alex R. Treharne
Chief Operating Officer, Nu Skin Japan
Alex joined Nu Skin Enterprises in 1991 and has spent 12 years working in the Nu Skin Japan offices. Alex has held several key positions with Nu Skin Japan giving him a broad understanding of the company and a diversified skill set. His responsibilities have included Manager of Distributor Services, Operations Manager for the Osaka Branch Office, Senior Director of Distributor Support and Vice President of Technology. Alex has most recently served as Vice President of Marketing and Strategic Planning. Mr. Treharne graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Philosophy and Japanese Language.
Luke B. Yoo
President and General Manager, Nu Skin Korea
Luke B. Yoo joined Nu Skin as Vice President of Nu Skin Korea in December 1998 and continued his job as General Manager of Pharmanex Division for NSE Korea until September 2003. He was appointed as President and Representative Director of NSE Korea in October 2003. Prior to joining Nu Skin, he worked as partner consultant at East West Consulting in USA. He received B.S. degree in both Business Management and Computer Science at Brigham Young University. And he also studied at the graduate school of University of Hawaii.
Greater China
Andrew Fan
President, Greater China Region
Mr. Fan is the President of the Greater China region, overseeing Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Previously he served as Regional President of the Southeast Asia region. He is a founding employee in Asia for Nu Skin Enterprises, and since 1991 has supported and participated in the successful opening of twelve markets in Asia. Fan graduated from the City University of Hong Kong in 1988, holding a B.A. (Hons) in Business Studies. In January 2007, he was appointed as the Member of the Council of the University and as the Founding Chairman of Convocation for the University. Currently, he is an Honorary Board Member to the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation of Thailand and is also a Committee Member for the ASEAN Children Heart Surgery Fund under the Foundation. In the direct selling industry, Fan served as a Member of the Board of Directors for the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations from 2000 to 2006; in the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Direct Selling Association from 1997 to 2002, including two terms as the President; and also in the Executive Committee and Membership Committee for the Direct Selling Association of Singapore in 2002. In the last 20 years, Fan has been stationed in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau, Taipei, Jakarta, Tokyo, Seoul, Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. He currently resides in Shanghai.
Patrick Yeung
Vice President of Distributor Success, Nu Skin China
Patrick Yeung currently serves as the Vice President of Distributor Success for Nu Skin China. Previously, Yeung was appointed as the General Manager overseeing the operations and business development of Nu Skin Malaysia and Brunei in December 2003 and August 2004 respectively. An 11-year direct selling veteran, Yeung also served as the Regional Director of Sales Development for Southeast Asia since November 2003. He was at the forefront of launching three new markets for Nu Skin in Thailand, Philippines and Singapore in 1997, 1998 and 2000 respectively.
Prior to this appointment in Nu Skin, Yeung served as the Regional Director of Ethics and Compliance, Asia Pacific Region, another multinational direct selling company based in the United States where he oversaw the distributor training, ethical and compliance issues from 2001 to 2003 for 10 markets.
Yeung has a thorough understanding of the Nu Skin operations and business. He served the company from 1993 to 2001 in various supervisory and management levels. Yeung holds a bachelor's degree from the Hong Kong Baptist University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale.
Angela Lau
President, Nu Skin Hong Kong
Angela Lau is the President of Nu Skin Enterprises Hong Kong, overseeing the business operations in these areas. Ms. Lau joined the company in September 1991 as a Communications Executive, responsible for the Company's Distributor support function. She was promoted to Distributor Support Manager, Director of Operations, General Manager and President in 1995, 1999, 2002 and 2004 respectively. With more than 10 years experience in the direct selling industry, in 2002 Ms. Lau was elected as the Treasurer of Direct Selling Association of Hong Kong, continuing to promote the direct selling industry in Hong Kong. In 2001, Ms. Lau received her Master of Business Administration degree at Heroit Watt University in the United Kingdom.
Charlene Chiang
President, Nu Skin Taiwan
Ms. Charlene Chiang joined Nu Skin Enterprises in 1993, and currently serves as President of Nu Skin Taiwan. Previously she served as President of Nu Skin Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei. She also has served as General Manager of the Pharmanex division for Nu Skin Taiwan. Ms. Chiang has served on the National Biotechnology Medical Development Committee of Taiwan since 2001. Prior to joining Nu Skin, she worked at a leading advertising agency. She received her BA. degree in Japanese from Fu Jen Catholic University. She also studied at St John's University.
Keynes (Chaodong) Li
Vice President External Affairs and Chief Representative of Beijing office, Greater China
Keynes Li was appointed Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for Greater China in 2004. In this role, he is responsible for promoting communication between NSE and the key regulating departments of the Chinese government and providing counsel to the company on relevant China laws and regulations. He has been the Chief Representative of NSE Beijing Representative Office since 2000. Since January 2005, he has concurrently served as the General Manager of the Northern China Regional Office of Nu Skin (China). Prior to his current roles, he served as Director of Sourcing and China Development at Pharmanex from 1996 to 2000. He was one of the key staff of Pharmanex when the company was founded. Previously, he was Vice President of China Operations at Synde Inc. overseeing the company's investment in China. Before moving to the U.S. in 1990, Keynes worked at the Planning Committee of the Shanghai People's Government from 1982 to 1989. He received a B.S. degree in economics from the Fudan University in Shanghai China, a graduation certificate in law from the Shanghai Judicial Administration College and a graduation certificate in economic management from the Hong Kong Management Association.
Owen Messick
Vice President of Finance, Asia and the Pacific/ Chief Operating Officer, Nu Skin China
Owen Messick was appointed as vice president of finance for Asia in August of 2003. In this role, Mr. Messick leads the finance and accounting teams for all of the company's Asian entities. Mr Messick joined Nu Skin Hong Kong in September of 1991 as the finance manager in Hong Kong and gradually assumed the role of the Asian regional controller. Prior to joining Nu Skin, he worked for the international accounting firms of Ernst and Young and Arthur Andersen specializing in the taxation. As a certified public accountant, Mr. Messick graduated from Brigham Young University with a master's and bachelor's degree in 1987.

Melisa Quijano
President of the Southeast Asia Region
Melisa Quijano serves as the President of the Southeast Asia region, bringing more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience to the role. Previously, Quijano held the position of Vice President of Market Services for the company¡¦s global Distributor Success Organization. She has also served as Regional Director for Southeast Asia, General Manager for Nu Skin Malaysia and Nu Skin Thailand, as well as Regional Marketing Director. Prior to joining Nu Skin Enterprises, Quijano held management positions for the Asian operations of Tupperware, Sara Lee Direct Selling Asia and S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. Quijano earned a bachelor¡¦s degree in business management from Ateneo Manila University in the Philippines where she was a University Scholar.
Pakapun (Vicky) Leevutinum
General Manager, Nu Skin Thailand
Vicky has been General Manager for Nu Skin Thailand since 2003, supervising all day-to-day company strategy and operations. Vicky is also a member of the Board of the Direct Selling Association of Thailand and a member of the Board of the Health and Food Association of Thailand. She is also a member of the Board of the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Foundation and is Chairman of the Southeast Asia Children Heart Fund. Vicky plays a major role in helping provide assistance for less fortunate children in Thailand and other children in regions of Southeast Asia. Vicky joined Nu Skin Enterprises in 1996 as an International Assistant Manager, where she assisted in opening Korea, Malaysia, China and Thailand markets. A Chulalongkorn University alumnus, Vicky graduated with first-class honors with a bachelor’s degree in accounting with an emphasis in business administration. She later attended the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University where she earned a master’s degree in business administration. Since 1999 Vicky has been the Secretary of the Utah Alumni Association in Thailand. Vicky is married and has two children.
Americas and Europe
Scott E. Schwerdt
President, Americas, Europe and Pacific
Scott Schwerdt was named President for the Americas and Europe in March 2006. Prior to his appointment, Schwerdt served as President of North America for Nu Skin Enterprises. He also served as Vice President of North America/South Pacific Operations from 1992-1996, and as Vice President of Europe for Nu Skin Enterprises from February 1996 to December 1998. He joined Nu Skin Enterprises in 1988 as a Communications Representative and in December 1989 became Director of Distributor Services. Prior to joining Nu Skin, he was a Senior Resource Manager at the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. from 1984 to 1988. Schwerdt earned a B.A. degree in international relations from Brigham Young University.
Mikael Linder
President, Europe
Mikael Linder was named President of the European region in March 2006. Previously, Linder served as General Manager in Scandinavia and as Nordic Regional Manager since 2001. Prior to joining Nu Skin Enterprises, Mr. Linder worked on Oriflame's new market development team, focusing on North Africa and Southeast Asia. He also acted as a general manager for Oriflame's Sri Lanka market. Mr. Linder received a Master of Law (LLM) degree from the University of Stockholm and has also studied commercial and corporate law at the London School of Economics.
Justin Rose
Vice President and General Manager, North America
Justin has been in the network marketing industry for 17 years. Throughout his career, he has focused on supporting distributor success. After beginning his career with Nu Skin Enterprises in 1989 he quickly advanced into management roles with product marketing and played a key part in the company's expansion into Mexico. His experience has focused on distributor success. In 1996 he accepted a position with AVEDA Inc. in Minneapolis, Minn., where he helped introduce the company's first nutritional network marketing business opportunity. Prior to returning to Nu Skin Enterprises in April 2000, he held key sales positions at Melaleuca and USANA.
Greg Darlington
Vice President of Regional Marketing, Americas & Europe
Greg Darlington serves as Vice President of Regional Marketing for the Americas and Europe since Sept. 2008. In this role, Darlington is responsible for integration of the company’s brand position and marketing message in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to his current assignment, Darlington worked in China where he served as Nu Skin China's Vice President of Sales and Development since March 2004 and before that as Nu Skin Taiwan's Vice President of Sales Development from 2002 to 2004. Joining Nu Skin Enterprises since 1989, he has over sixteen years of experience through serving in other roles such as Director of Marketing for Nu Skin, Pharmanex and Big Planet; Director of U.S. Marketing, and Director of Web Services. Darlington earned a B.A. in international relations from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University. Recently, he was appointed to the Business Advisory Council of the Miami University of Ohio Farmer School of Business.
Oran Arazi-Gamliel
President, Israel, Eurasia and South Africa
As general manager of Nu Skin Israel, Oran Arazi-Gamliel oversees all market operations and is responsible for the development and management of all marketing programs, including gaining distributor support and fostering retention initiatives. Mr. Arazi-Gamliel has more than fifteen years of executive management experience with several multinational companies in both Israel and the United States, including more than seven years as general manager of Sunrider Israel. He also serves as the vice-chairman of the Israel Direct Selling Association and as the Head of the Dietary Food Supplement Division of the Israeli Chamber of Commerce. Oran received a bachelor's degree in business administration/hospitality management and a master's in international business from Johnson & Wales University.
Alex Hoffman
Director of Operations, Latin America
Since 2001 Alex has played key roles in the successful growth of Nu Skin Enterprises?Latin American Markets in the Americas region. Before that he was the General Manager for Nu Skin Mexico. Previously he worked as the Sales & Marketing Manager in Mexico helping to increase sales, grow the distributor force and launch new products and compensation plan initiatives. Before joining the company he was a successful independent distributor for Nature's Sunshine in his native Venezuela. He has more than 14 years experience in the direct selling industry and loves working with people and traveling throughout Latin America and Mexico. Alex received a bachelor's degree in business management with an emphasis in international marketing from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
Giovanni López
General Manager, Nu Skin Central America
Giovanni López serves as the Director of Nu Skin in Mexico and Guatemala. He previously served as General Manager of Guatemala from 1995 to 2002. He joined the company in 1995, and prior to that worked for nine years in Sales and Marketing. He also worked for the National Parks Institute of Guatemala where he helped develop programs aimed at using natural resources more efficiently. Mr. López studied Business Management at the University of San Carlos de Guatemala.
