Nu Skin Enterprises Australia Receives DebRA President's Award

Nu Skin Enterprises Australia has been awarded the inaugural President's Award at the DebRA Australia conference in recognition of its support with organizing Butterfly Day and designing and printing the semiannual DebRA newsletter. The President's award is presented each year to the company that has demonstrated the greatest commitment to assisting DebRA in fulfilling their efforts.

DebRA Australia is the support association of those afflicted with EB and their families and is funded solely by voluntary donations for their work in investigating and implementing ways to help suffers in their daily lives, educating the general public and health care professionals and raising money for research.

Michael Fitzpatrick, President of DebRA Australia, had this to say "EB at its worst can be fatal, but even in its mildest form it causes a life of pain and physical challenges. It's very hard to imagine spending hours of every day dealing with blisters, wounds and destructive scarring. DebRA Australia receives no direct government funding. It is only through community awareness and support, as well as support from corporate Australia that it can continue its vital role. Nu Skin Enterprises, Force for Good Foundation and staff have and continue to assist DebRA in its goals, it is imperative that we as a support group publicly recognize their much needed and invaluable support."
